Children deserve more than protection, they deserve a voice.

CVAMU empowers children to become leaders in malaria prevention through schools, innovation, advocacy and community action. We work alongside families, teachers, health workers and partners to build a malaria-free generation.

The Malaria Challenge

Accounts for approximately 40% of outpatient visits.
Causes around 25% of hospital admissions.
Contributes to nearly 14% of hospital deaths.
Disproportionately affects children under five and pregnant women.
Reduces school attendance and learning outcomes.
Places a significant economic burden on families and the country. Emerging challenges include climate change, insecticide resistance, changing mosquito behaviour, rapid urbanisation, and population growth.
